Overview
Scheduled Mass Email Analytics gives you visibility into how your emails are performing after they've been sent. Key metrics like deliveries, opens, clicks, and bounces are all available in one place—helping you make data-driven decisions and craft more effective email communications.
Accessing Your Email Analytics
To find your email analytics:
Navigate to Marketing > Scheduled Mass Emails
Click View next to any sent email to open the full analytics experience.
Please Note: Clicking View on a sent email will now open a full-page view (instead of a modal) where you'll see KPI data alongside the email's send parameters, fields, and preview.
Important: Analytics are only available for emails that have already been sent — scheduled emails that haven't been sent yet will not have data.
Understanding Your Analytics Data
Below is a breakdown of each data point available in the analytics view.
Data Point | Description |
Sent | The total number of recipients BoldTrail attempted to send the email to—contacts who matched the email's trigger, had an email address, and were subscribed at the time of send. |
Delivered | The number of emails confirmed as accepted by the recipient's mail server. Note: delivery doesn't guarantee inbox placement—emails may still be routed to spam or other folders. |
Not Delivered, Due to Daily Limits | Emails that were not sent because the sender's daily mass email limit was reached. |
Unique Opens | The unique number of times recipients opened the email. |
Unique Clicks | The unique number of times recipients clicked on links within the email. |
Responded | The number of recipients who replied directly to the email. |
Bounced | Emails that failed to deliver due to permanent issues, such as invalid addresses or recipient server rejections. |
Spam Complaints | The number of recipients who marked your email as spam through their email provider's feedback system. |
Unsubscribes | Recipients who unsubscribed from future emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. |
Data Retention & Availability
Analytics data is stored for 1 year from the email's send date on a rolling basis.
When the feature is enabled, you'll immediately have access to analytics for any scheduled mass emails sent within the past year—no action required.
Only the most recent values for each data point are stored. Data is not segmented by timeframe (e.g., "1 day after send" vs. "7 days after send").
