What is Roomvo?
When you search a listing in BoldTrail, buyers can now restyle any listing right on the photo. New flooring, new paint, new finishes, in seconds. Buyers browsing a BoldTrail listing can now click "Restyle" and instantly try new flooring, wall colors, tile, and countertops on that listing's actual photos. It helps buyers picture themselves in a home that isn’t move-in-ready as-is, which is most homes.
There's no app to download and no design background needed. The experience runs right in the browser, and listings with Roomvo enabled have seen up to 170% more showing requests.
How the Integration Works
When Roomvo is enabled in Web & IDX, a "Restyle" button appears on listing images. Toggling this setting on allows leads to customize walls, flooring, and finishes to visualize the property in different styles.
Roomvo is available on Template and Custom/Semi-Custom sites (not currently available on CoreHome, WordPress, or other partnership sites).
Restyle availability by listing:
Your brokerage's own listings ("My/Our Listings") automatically show the Restyle experience.
Other listings show Restyle only if Roomvo has an established connection with that listing's MLS.
Manual listings are not currently supported — Roomvo requires a listing sourced from an MLS feed.
Roomvo handles MLS compliance and eligibility on their end. If Roomvo doesn't yet have a coverage relationship with your MLS, a request can be initiated to establish one — this only needs to happen once per MLS, not per agent. Once that connection exists, it's available to every eligible agent on that MLS.
For brokerages: There's no setup and no cost. Standard BoldTrail Support handles any technical or integration issues that come up.
For agents: On eligible listings, you can click 'Restyle' directly — no separate login or download required. There's also a mobile visualizer link agents can save to their phone, so they can snap a photo of any room (not just a listing) and restyle it live in front of a client.
FAQs
Isn't this the same as virtual staging?
No, virtual staging is one static image with one fixed style. Roomvo is interactive: buyers can change the design themselves in real time, on any listing.
Will this slow down our website?
No. It's lightweight and loads asynchronously, so it doesn't affect the listing page or site speed.
Is there a cost to us or our agents?
No, the visualizer is 100% free at the baseline level.
Does this work on manual listings?
No. Roomvo requires a listing sourced from an MLS feed.
What can actually be restyled?
Today: flooring, wall paint/tile/wallpaper, and countertops. Roomvo is expanding the catalog to furniture, appliances, and fixtures through 2026.
