[BoldTrail] How to Connect Dotloop to BoldTrail

Learn how to connect Dotloop and sync your transactions to BoldTrail.

Updated over 6 months ago

Overview

Currently, you can connect Dotloop to BoldTrail, and the system will display all of your Transactions within the Transactions tab from the main navigation on the left side of your Dashboard.

Important Information to Know

  • We recommend that the Admin/Broker connect Dotloop while logged in as an Administrator. This will connect all Loops at that level, and the Admin will be able to view them from one location.

  • After Dotloop is connected, Agents will be able to see the loops to which they are connected. BoldTrail does this by cross-referencing the Agent's email address. Agents should see all the loops they are connected to in some way.

  • Data from Dotloop will be synced to BoldTrail. However, there is no way to add a new transaction in BoldTrail and have it sync to Dotloop.

How to Connect Dotloop

1. Visit the Marketplace

2. Click 'Learn More' on the Dotloop tile. This will open a popup with a button to 'Add to BoldTrail' on the top right.

Please Note: Once you have added Dotloop to your BoldTrail account it will say 'Installed' in place of 'Learn More'.

If you already have a Dotloop account, there will be no additional cost as you already subscribe to their services.

3. After clicking 'Add to BoldTrail', a popup will appear prompting you to sign in to Dotloop.

The Administrator who manages the Dotloop account for your company should be the one who adds Dotloop to BoldTrail. If the Administrator makes the connection via the Marketplace, all Agent loops will be synced, meaning the individual Agent does not need to connect Dotloop via the Marketplace. They'll only need to access the Transactions tab after the Administrator connects the main account.

After logging in to Dotloop via the popup it will be connected to your BoldTrail account!

Please Note: You can connect Dotloop to BoldTrail with either Free OR Paid Dotloop accounts.

Viewing Loops in BoldTrail

In the 'Deals' tab, you will see all the loops you are connected to as an Agent.

As an Admin you should see all the loops for your Agency. BoldTrail finds contact info by email address to associate it in different ways.

TIP: Clicking on a transaction name or number within the Deals tab does NOT bring you into the transaction, this only highlights an overview from the transactions tab.

How to Link Your Transaction to a Specific Contact, Agent, or Lender

You can associate a loop with a specific Agent, Contact, or Lender.

1. Select the loop from the list using the checkbox to the left of the transaction name.

2. Use one of the buttons at the top to search for and connect the loop with that person.

When the search box pops up, begin typing a name to search. Then click 'Assign'.
