Summary

You can forward "New Lead" emails that you get from a third party to Kunversion+, by forwarding those emails to your special email import address. Doing so will create that new lead in your Agent Dashboard, so long as the email that was forwarded has the New Lead's information in it. Your email import address is on your settings page.

What are Email Imports?

Email Imports are a way for leads to automatically funnel into Kunversion+.

Normally, when you get a lead from somewhere, like Realtor.com, you get an email that tells you that you have a new lead.

So long as that email has the leads' contact info in it, we can have that email sent to Kunversion+ via email import, and Kunversion+ will create the lead for you in your dashboard. So, there is no need for you to type in all the lead information by hand.

There are two ways this can happen. You could click forward on each email you get that has a lead, and forward it to your email import address. Or, you can setup a filter in GMail so that every time you get a new lead email from somewhere, GMail forwards it for you.

In either case, you need your special email import address. Navigate to your settings page to find it. It will look something like this:

In this example, of course we have zeros in place of where your unique ID is. The 3 to 5 digit number in your address is your ID. So any and all emails forwarded to it, are matched to you. 

Once an email is forwarded, Kunversion+ will scan it for any lead information. If it successfully does so, then you will get an email notification it was successful, or not successful. All emails sent to the import address are forwarded to you, just in case.

If an email was NOT imported, check to see if the lead already exists in Kunversion+, and also check that the original email actually had lead information in it, like Name, Email, Phone, etc. If the lead does not exist, and the forwarded email DID have sufficient contact info, please contact support and we can assist.

Please do not use email imports for Zillow leads. Use Zillow Tech Connect instead to have all of your Zillow Leads fed to Kunversion+ automatically.

Whenever an email is imported and creates a lead, if we know the source of the email we will hashtag it automatically for you! Here are all the known email import source hashtags.

Manual Email Import

Once you have your unique import address, you can import leads by sending an email like this. It's all the information we look for in any import: 

First Name:

Phone:

Price:

Zipcode:

To add hashtags, use the brackets as noted above.

[HASHTAG wxyz] would add #wxyz to the lead. Each hashtag must be added separately.

Then you can simply forward that email to your import address, and the lead will be added. A copy of the email will be saved in Gmail, and any information we see will be saved in the leads' notes.

Auto Email Import

GMail Forward

If you already get all of your non-Kunversion+ "New Lead" emails in GMail, then there is a two-step process for getting those emails into KV+ automatically.

First, you need to add your agent-import address as a forwarding address. Remember, all emails sent to the import-agent address are forwarded to you. So, you can add it to GMail pretty easily.

  1. On your computer, open Gmail using the account you want to forward messages from. You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.

  2. In the top right, click Settings .

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

  5. In the "Forwarding" section, click Add a forwarding address.

  6. Enter the email address you want to forward messages to.

  7. Click Next  Proceed  OK.

  8. A verification message will be sent to that address. The Email Import address forwards to your Gmail, so wait for the email to come into your GMail inbox. Click the verification link in that message.

  9. Once the email is verified, we are done.

Next, we want to create a filter for our New Lead Emails. Open your main inbox, and click the search drop down, and enter the most specific criteria that will match the incoming new lead emails. Then, select the option to forward.

Third Party Lead Forward

Most third parties have options for you to have your leads that you purchased from them, sent to a specific email. In these cases, have your new leads sent directly to your import-agent email.

For  Zillow and Trulia, do not use email imports. Use Zillow Tech Connect. Your Zillow Tech Connect ID is also on your settings page.

Realtor.com forward

First, log into your realtor.com account. Then, click on the main menu at the upper right corner, and click on settings.

Then, click on 'Lead Settings' on the left.

You will need to scroll down until you see the settings for 'Connections Plus,' 'Profile Leads,' and 'Courtesy Leads.' The settings for all three need to be changed individually.

After clicking on 'Change' for one of the settings, you will see the option to specify where to send those leads.

Begin by clicking 'add email' (if applicable, you could also edit an existing forward instead.)

  1. First, select 'Lead Forwarding' from the drop down menu.

  2. Then, paste in your Lead Dropbox email.

  3. Finally, select 'Plain Text' as the format of the message.

Click 'Save' when done.

Repeat this process for all three lead sources.

Your leads will now flow through Kunversion+ and you will receive notifications and forwarded copies of any non-lead emails in GMail.
