Begin by visiting settings in Gmail, by clicking on the gear icon at the upper right side of the page.

Then, click on the 'Advanced Tab.'

The first option on the advanced tab should be for 'canned responses.'  Find the canned responses option, and click on enable to the far right of it.

Be sure to click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.

Now, go to compose a message, and if your signature is in the body of the email, delete it.

Then, write an email that you want to save, and then click on the small vertical ellipsis at the bottom right corner (1), and then mouse over 'Canned Response' (2), select 'Save draft as template' (3), and then finally 'Save as new template' (4.)

You'll be prompted to give your response a name for reference in the Canned Responses menu. After it's in there, you can use it whenever you compose a new email!

  • Click the name you gave your canned response under the 'Insert Template' heading to insert it into your message.
  • Click the name you gave your canned response under the 'Save draft as template' > 'Overwrite Template' heading to overwrite your existing canned response.
  • Click the name you gave your canned response under the 'Delete template' heading to delete that canned response permanently.

Note
If you save your email signature as a canned response, you can insert it whenever you need to very quickly! This is especially useful for when Kunversion builds an email for you, and your signature is missing!
