The Agent Success Plan is a free course within the Learning Portal that is available for all Agent users to enroll in and complete. It is broken into five parts, or sections, and agents may review and complete each short lesson as quickly or slowly as they need to; there is no time limit or expiry date on the course.

It is highly recommended that new users complete this course as soon as they gain access to their kvCORE account so they can jump start their use of the platform and build their working knowledge of its tools.

TIP: If you are an Admin user in a kvCORE account and are involved with your Office's internal training and/or agent management, we recommend that you complete this course as well. It will help you to better train your agents using kvCORE and help you to get familiar with how kvCORE works as well.

Getting Started in the Agent Success Plan

In order to access and enroll in the Agent Success Plan (ASP), log into your kvCORE account and click on the Agent Success Plan box in the top right-hand corner of your Dashboard.

That will open the Learning Portal in a new tab and automatically create a Learning Portal account for you using the email address in your kvCORE profile. This Learning Portal account is directly tied to your kvCORE account so your progress can be successfully tracked.

Please Note: If you change your email address in the kvCORE profile, this will NOT update in your Learning Portal (LP) account. If you click into the Learning Portal from any of the links in kvCORE after changing your email, it will create a NEW LP account with that new email. If you wish to retain your original LP account, but need to update your email address, please change it in the LP first and then update it in kvCORE.

After clicking on the 'Agent Success Plan' box in kvCORE, you will see the enrollment page in the Learning Portal. Click on "Click Here to Start Course" to enroll and begin the course.

TIP: By enrolling in the course you are also signing up for email notifications reminding you to complete the course until it is at 100% in the Learning Portal. We suggest going through the above steps to enroll even if you cannot begin the course at that moment because you can always come back to it by clicking on the link in one of those email notifications.

After clicking on that green button you will be taken to the first video (titled Course Overview) in the first section (titled Introduction).

Each video will auto-play and it will automatically load the next lesson/video for you as you complete them.

Please Note: For any non-video lessons you will need to click the green "Complete & Continue" button at the bottom of the module in order for the Learning Portal to record your successful completion of that lesson.

Course Introduction

The first section of the Agent Success Plan introduces the course and reviews Inside Real Estate's vision behind the plan. This section sets the tone for the rest of the course and gives you guidelines on successfully completing it.

  1. Overview Video - What to expect throughout the course. Suggested time frame and what you are responsible for in order to onboard successfully.

  2. kvCORE Powering Your Business Video - Overview of the kvCORE platform and how it can empower you to build and grow your business.

  3. Goals for Results Video - Short video on how to set meaningful, attainable goals that you can achieve by using kvCORE.

  4. Goals for Results Worksheet - Identify your goals and commitments. Print and set goals on your worksheet. Keep it accessible during and after completing the course.

  5. Course Handout PDF - Download and print to keep yourself on track as you complete the Agent Success Plan. Combines all sections' overviews and homework.

  6. Resources - Here you will find relevant resources to help you with your continued kvCORE education. We encourage you to review each linked article to round out your knowledge on the topics reviewed in each video lesson.

Homework

Most lessons will have homework items. If there are worksheets, you will be able to download and print those from the Resources section. Action items should be completed before your weekly call and before moving on to the next section.

Week 1: kvCORE Basics

Each section past the Introduction is segmented into different weeks: Week 1, Week 2, etc...it is set up this way to encourage agents to complete each section within 7 days so they have ample time to review each lesson, complete the related homework item(s), and bring their questions to the live training webinar.

By no means does an agent have to stick to this timeline; if they learn quickly and have few questions they are welcome to complete each week in a shorter time frame.

The same is true for agents who would like to take a bit longer, working their way through one lesson and its homework at a time, perhaps re-watching a few videos as well.

Training Modules

  1. Week 1 Overview - What to expect from the lessons in this particular section.

  2. Profile & Dashboard Set Up - Set up your kvCORE profile, choose some of your automated settings, and get familiar with daily tasks.

  3. Understanding Statuses, Smart Campaigns, & Behavioral Automation - Overview of basic kvCORE automation and how it works with your leads and communicates with them. Review statuses and how to use them properly.

  4. Import Your Leads - Understand why importing leads is important and what to think about prior to importing.

  5. The Lead & Consumer Experience - Add yourself as a lead and get familiar with what the system will do to engage with your contacts.

    Please Note: You cannot use the email address or phone number for your test lead that you are using in your kvCORE profile. The system will not be able to tell you as a test lead apart from you as the agent, so use a different email and phone number (a friend or family member's if you don't have a secondary) when setting up your test lead.

  6. Engage your Leads & Sphere - Set up a new smart campaign and find your third party source API keys for outside lead gen.

  7. kvCORE On The Go - Overview of kvCORE's mobile app and the Open House app.

  8. Week 1 Homework Checklist - Check off each item as you review and complete the homework.

  9. Week 1 "Success Webinar" Registration - Register for and attend the accompanying Week 1 live training webinar. Bring any questions or issues you may have.

  10. Week 2: Prep - Review all the places you have spent money over the last 90 days as a refresher for what has worked for you and your lead generation and highlight current strategies that you can build on.

Week 2: Empower Your Current Business

Starting with the Week 2 section there is a brief training webinar survey that agents who have attended the webinars are asked to fill out prior to continuing with that week's lessons.

This survey helps Inside Real Estate's Training Team to better understand the training needs of agents and provides the Trainers will an opportunity to improve.

  2. Week 2: Overview - What to expect from the lessons in this particular section.

  3. Work Your Business From the Dashboard - Understand what you should do each day within kvCORE.

  4. Importance of Search Alerts, Seller Reports, & Market Reports - Review how to automate important engagement pieces within kvCORE. Work smarter with automation, not harder by performing these tasks manually.

  5. Lead Engine Overview - Make a note of which lead generation tool(s) you would like to use moving forward. Come back to these notes in Week 3.

  6. Manage & Promote Listings - Understand basic listing stages. Learn how to use kvCORE tools to promote the listing while in each stage.

  7. Leverage Open Houses - Drive more traffic to your open houses. Learn how to capture more leads and engage with more success.

  8. Smarter Print Campaigns - Work your offline, print strategies into your overall kvCORE use to align your business efforts.

  9. Prospecting - Learn how to use kvCORE to prospect with more results.

  10. Week 2 Homework Checklist - Check off each item as you review and complete the homework.

  11. Week 2 "Success Strategy" Registration - Register for and attend the accompanying Week 2 live training webinar. Bring any questions or issues you may have.

  12. Week 3 Prep - Speak with at least 3 different, top producing agents either in your office, brokerage, or the Success Strategies Facebook Group to see how they are driving business.

Week 3: Driving Leads & Growing Your Sphere

This particular section reviews some free and paid ways to generate leads, and includes both free and paid methods in the week's homework.

If agents do not feel comfortable paying for lead generation within kvCORE's Marketplace, they are by no means required to. However, for newer agents who wish to expand their pipeline or for agents who would like to streamline their current advertising efforts, using one of the paid lead gen options will be key.

  6. Free Lead Generation: FB Group Posts & Landing/Squeeze Pages - Learn how to use these particular tools. Best practices for using them specifically with Facebook Groups.

  7. Paid Lead Generation: PropertyBoost - Learn how to use this particular tool.

  8. Paid Lead Generation: CORE Advertising with Google & Facebook - Define each lead generation source. Review how you can use either for increasing your lead gen.

  9. Paid Lead Generation: CORE ListingMachine & Social - Review how you can use either for increasing your lead gen.

As agents finish up with the Agent Success Plan, they will need to click the "Complete & Continue" button at the bottom of the very last module: 'Resources'. This will ensure that their account reflects 100% progress and the Learning Portal marks this course complete.
