In some cases, you may want to turn behavioral follow-ups or other auto communications (such as Search Alerts and Smart Campaigns) for individuals. This is the preferred method to unsubscribing a contact. You don't want to turn off all communications for that contact if you can help it. Instead of unsubscribing your contact entirely, try turning off individual messages instead.
Disabling Behavioral Automation
To disable behavioral automation for an individual contact first enter their contact profile. Then on the right side click 'More Actions'. Select 'Turn Off Behavioral Alerts' from the drop-down menu.
How to Disable Smart Campaigns, Market Reports, Seller Reports Reports and Search Alerts
All other automatic communications can be removed using the controls on the right side of the contact profile. Expand the tile, mouse over the item you want to remove and click on it to see the controls.
