If you already get non-kvCORE "New Lead" emails in Gmail, then there is a quick process for getting those leads into kvCORE automatically!
First, you need to add your agent import address as a forwarding address, then continue with the steps below.
Step 1: Retrieve Your Lead Dropbox Email Address
You'll access the Lead Dropbox by clicking the 'Lead Engine' tab from the left navigation. Select 'Lead Dropbox' from the top right.
From there click 'Copy' button next to your agent email Lead Dropbox Email.
Step 2: Setup the Forwarding Email Address in Gmail
On your computer, open Gmail using the account you want to forward messages from.
Please Note: You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.
Click the gear icon on the top right. Then, click 'See all settings'.
From the settings menu, click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP near the top. Then, select 'Add a forwarding address'.
Paste your Lead Dropbox email address into the forwarding address field and click 'Next'.
A small window will open to confirm the forwarding address. Click 'Proceed'.
A popup will appear confirming that a forwarding address has been added. Click 'OK'.
Please Note: You may be asked to verify this information! The verification message will be sent to your Gmail inbox. Copy the verification code and paste it into the 'Forwarding and POP/IMPA' section and click 'Verify'.
Step 3: Create a Filter to Forward the Correct Emails to kvCORE
In our example, we will forward leads from realtor.ca to kvCORE so that they can be immediately entered into the system and have automation assigned to them like Smart Campaigns or Search Alerts.
From the 'Settings' section click the 'Filters and Blocked Addresses' tab. At the bottom select 'Create a new filter'.
To create the filter begin by adding the realtor.ca lead email address in the 'from' field. Then, select 'Create filter'.
Gmail will now give you options to set for when you receive an email that matches the search criteria. Check the box next to 'Forward it to' and select the Lead Dropbox email. Finally, click 'Create filter' on the bottom right.
Pro Tips
Apply a label: Gmail can automatically label your emails as desired. This helps you more easily stay on top of your emails and keep your inbox from overflowing.
Never send it to Spam: This way it always gets to your inbox
The next time you get a lead from lead@realtor.ca the email will automatically forward into kvCORE!
