CORE Video at a Glance

There is both a free (basic) and a paid (premium) version of CORE Video available in your kvCORE account.

CORE Video - Basic

All kvCORE users have access to 10 included videos that reset on the first of each month. These videos may only be sent via email and to individual contacts, not multiple contacts at once.

Please Note: kvCORE does not track video analytics for CORE Video - Basic users, meaning you will need to keep track of how many videos you send each month up to your limit of 10.

TIP: Your premade videos will sync over into kvCORE's video library, but your premade video templates will not. If you are not seeing that the videos have synced, please reach out to support@bombbomb.com.

CORE Video for Groups

Interested in bringing the power of CORE Video to your organization? CORE Video for Groups offers special discount pricing for teams or groups of 5 or more individuals. This offering streamlines providing CORE Video for your team by allowing a single point of payment.

To get started, just log into your kvCORE account and navigate to your Marketplace tab. Scroll down until you see the CORE Video for Groups tile and click "Learn More".

Please Note: A minimum of 5 users is required to set up a CORE Video for Groups subscription, but there is no maximum limit on how many users you can include.

Once you click on the green "Add to kvCORE" button you will fill out a form with your information and a Customer Success Manager will reach out to gather further details from you in order to set up the subscription.

Please Note: Whoever fills out the form to purchase CORE Video for Groups will automatically become the main point of contact and will eventually be set up as the payer for that subscription.

The Customer Success Manager will provide further details like pricing and commitment timeframes and they will send you a contract to sign in order to get everything set up.

You will also need to provide them with a list of the users' names and email addresses in kvCORE so Inside Real Estate can successfully enable CORE Video access for everyone.

The Customer Success Manager will then confirm once the subscription has been set up so you can inform your Team, Office, or account as a whole.

How to Send CORE Video Messages

There are multiple ways to use CORE Video to send a message:

  • Manually send an individual email or text.

  • Manually send a mass email or text.

  • Manually send a social media message.

  • Automate an individual email or text using Smart Campaigns.

  • Manually send a video message in the kvCORE App.

TIP: It is strongly recommended you install BombBomb's Google Chrome extension to make recording videos more efficient.

Manually Send an Individual Email or Text

You can quickly record and send a one-off message to a specific contact by accessing their contact record, either from your Dashboard's Activity Stream or the Smart CRM.

Once in their contact record, simply click the "CORE Video" button in the top right corner.

Please Note: This is the only way to send a CORE Video message if you are a Basic user. Any of the below methods require a CORE Video - Premium subscription.

Manually Send a Mass Email or Text

Sending out a mass email or text with a CORE Video message can easily be done in the Smart CRM. For instance, if you have a list of recently generated New Leads you can send out a prerecorded video message introducing yourself and your website search function.

1. Log into your kvCORE account.

2. Navigate to the Smart CRM tab to the left.

3. Filter for the contacts you would like to send the video message to.

4. Check the boxes next to the names of the desired contacts.

5. Click on the 'More Actions' drop-down menu at the top of the contacts table.

6. Choose 'Send CORE Video(s)' from the drop-down menu that appears.

7. Click either the "Send as Email" button or the "Send as Text" button in the top left.

8. Click on "Open Recorder" if you would like to record the message fresh or click on the "Select a Video" button to choose an existing video.

9. If you would like to add additional widgets, like dynamic content or images, to your email, you can click into the "Advanced Editor" as well.

10. Once you are done with the message, click "Send" at the bottom and each selected contact will display a note with the date/time of the message.

Manually Send a Social Media Message

In order to send a video message via your social media platforms, you will need to record and download the video first and then upload or add it into a post on that social platform.

You will need to install BombBomb's Google Chrome extension first and then you will have the ability to record videos from your desktop or laptop using your webcam and upload them directly to your desired social platform.

Automate Messages Using Smart Campaigns

One of the great aspects of having a CORE Video subscription is the ability to create video message templates and adding them to your Smart Campaigns as email or text touches.

TIP: You will need to record the video message(s) prior to adding them as a Smart Campaign Template and Action so you are able to choose the video file from your video library.

1. Log into your kvCORE account.

2. Navigate to the Marketing Autopilot tab to the left.

3. Click on the Smart Campaigns tile.

4. Click into the 'Templates' section at the top.

5. Click on the green "+ Add Template" button to the right.

6. Choose to create either a 'Text Template' or 'Email Template'.

The Text template will have a button to "Insert a Video" that will bring up your video library.

TIP: If you choose to create an 'Email Template' you will need to switch to the Advanced Email Editor so you can use the CORE Video widget.

7. Choose an existing video from your library to insert into the email or text template.

Please Note: When inserting a video into a text message it will be sent as a link along with the message entered into the 'Content' box.

8. Once the video is chosen and your SMS or email message is crafted, click the green "Add Template" button in the bottom right.

9. Click back into the 'Campaign Library' at the top.

Now you can add this template as an email or text action into any Smart Campaign of your choosing! For more information on adding Smart Campaign touches, click here.

Using CORE Video in kvCORE's Mobile App

If you have CORE Video - Premium you are also able to record and send video messages through your kvCORE app!

Click into the contact record for the person you would like to send a video message to and click the + icon on the bottom right.

From the menu click 'CORE Video'.

You will then have the option to record a new video or choose a previously recorded message to send to the contact.

What is BombBomb?

BombBomb is a video email marketing platform that allows users to create and build relationships through video.

They are separate from Inside Real Estate and have partnered with us to bring you the most powerful video messaging solution in the industry.

What is the difference between CORE Video - Basic and CORE Video - Premium?

How do I start using CORE Video - Basic?

Navigate to your Smart CRM, click on the contact's name that you would like to send a video message to, and click 'CORE Video' on the top right.

A prompt will appear asking you to choose between CORE Video and CORE Video - Premium. Click on 'Get CORE Video' to the left and the screen will refresh to enable the Basic version.

I am an Admin. Can I set up Smart Campaigns that incorporate CORE Video messages for my agents to use?

Yes! All three types of Admins may bulk purchase CORE Video and then set up Smart Campaign templates that incorporate CORE Video messages.

Please Note: The templates that contain CORE Video messages will only send for those agents that have a CORE Video subscription. This is why it is important to bulk purchase CORE Video for your agents if you would like to set up Smart Campaigns with it.

Can I use my current BombBomb subscription with CORE Video?

No. If you already have a subscription with BombBomb and would like to use CORE Video, you must first purchase a CORE Video subscription and then cancel your contract with BombBomb.

Can I cancel my current BombBomb subscription and sign up for CORE Video with Inside Real Estate?

Absolutely! Please make sure to cancel your BombBomb account before purchasing CORE Video Premium.

If I cancel my BombBomb subscription, will my existing videos transfer to my CORE Video subscription?

Yes! Your existing video files should sync over to the video library in kvCORE and remain there after your BombBomb account has been cancelled, but you should also download the files you wish to save as a precaution.

If I cancel my BombBomb subscription, will my existing BombBomb video templates transfer to kvCORE?

No. Only existing videos will sync into your kvCORE account after you purchase CORE Video, video templates will not.

If I have BombBomb integrated with other platforms will I be able to continue using those if I purchase CORE Video and cancel BombBomb?

What should I do if BombBomb doesn't seem to be syncing with kvCORE after I purchase CORE Video?

If I cancel CORE Video - Premium, will Inside Real Estate save my video files?

No, Inside Real Estate does not house any video files you have in your library so if you cancel your subscription for CORE Video - Premium your video files will not be saved.

In order to save your videos please download each file from your library prior to cancelling your CORE Video - Premum subscription.

If I purchase CORE Video does that mean I have a BombBomb account?

Yes! If you subscribe to CORE Video - Premium a BombBomb account will be set up for you automatically in order for them to house your video files.

You do not have to access your BombBomb account in order to use CORE Video, but should you want to take advantage of BombBomb's other features you can log in at login.bombbomb.com using the kvCORE SSO option.

Please Note: If you click on the kvCORE SSO option and are asked for a password, this refers to a Bombbomb password and not your kvCORE password. Please use the "Forgot password?" link on Bombbomb's log in page to create a password.

How do I delete unwanted CORE Video files?

In order to delete video files from your video library in kvCORE, you must first be logged into your BombBomb account. In order to do that you must have the Google Chrome extension added to your web browser and use that to log in or go to BombBomb's website and use the kvCORE login option at the bottom.

How do I use CORE Video outside of kvCORE?

If you would like to use CORE Video in conjunction with your social media platforms or other marketing efforts, you will need to install BombBomb's Chrome extension here.

Once that is installed you will have the ability to record videos from your desktop or laptop using your webcam and upload them directly.

TIP: Make sure to use the kvCORE symbol to log into your CORE Video - Premium account!

If you would like to download your video(s) to send outside of kvCORE, you will need to contact BombBomb's Support team via support@bombbomb.com.

Does kvCORE track sent/open rates for CORE Video messages?

Yes and no. After you have emailed a video message you will see a new note appear in the contact's Timeline with the title of the email. It will have a closed envelope icon to the right, indicating that the email has been sent.

When the contact opens the email, that icon will change to an open envelope with a drop-down arrow next to it that you can click to view the date and time.

However, the kvCORE does not track if the videos are watched - only if the emails have been opened.

Is there a limit to the length of videos I can send my contacts?

There is no limit on length, but the file's total size cannot exceed 2 GB.

How do I add a virtual background to my CORE Videos?

To add a virtual background click the screen button on the bottom right. Then, add a background using the '+' icon next to 'Backgrounds'.

Do I need to change anything if I update my email in kvCORE?

Yes - if you change your email address in kvCORE then, for now, you must go to BombBomb’s support and have them update the email address in their system to the new one. You can contact BombBomb Support at support@bombbomb.com!

Who do I contact if I have questions or problems with my CORE Video account?

kvCORE's Support team is always happy to answer any questions you may have about CORE Video - Premium, but if you have a question about your BombBomb account or the video files in your library please reach out to their Support team via support@bombbomb.com!


Troubleshooting Common Issues

If your kvCORE profile email contains a '+' symbol, it will not work with BombBomb due to their system's setup. Please remove the '+' or change your email address in kvCORE in order to purchase and use CORE Video.

If you receive an error when trying to record a video please check that your web browser extensions are not blocking the microphone you are using, as this is a common issue. You can easily disable and then re-enable the extensions in your browser extension settings.

Another common audio/video issue occurs if you are not using the default mic for the device you are using or if you have not selected the desired mic that you have connected. You can go to your device's audio settings in order to troubleshoot further.

TIP: If you experience recording issues, please check that you have an active CORE Video - Premium subscription and that the Google Chrome extension for BombBomb is added to your Google Chrome browser and is currently enabled.
