[CORE BackOffice] Syncing MLS Listings
[CORE BackOffice] Syncing MLS Listings
Updated over a week ago

Please note that the option to sync listings from the MLS is only available for Brokers with the Pro Package, see details here: https://brokersumo.com/pricing

The MLS Transaction Sync feature allows Brokers to sync their teams MLS transaction data with CORE Back Office if the preferred transaction management system is not integrated yet.

To request this sync, got to Transactions Tab > MLS.

There will be an MLS Sync Request Form located on that tab if you have not had it previously connected.

Note that if you currently use Dotloop, Skyslope or Docusign Transaction Rooms with CORE BackOffice already, we don't recommend syncing your MLS. This will cause duplicate transactions to be created.

In the form, enter the following information:

  • Broker Name

  • Broker Email

  • Brokerage Name

  • MLS Name

  • MLS Broker ID

  • Active Listing ID Example

Once you have completed and submitted the form, our team will be able to check if your MLS can be connected.

Note that it can take up to 5 business days for your request to be processed. Support will confirm with you directly when completed.

Once connected, you will need to sync it manually so new data can be added to your account.

In order to do so, you’ll return to Transactions > MLS.

Now, there will be a dropdown menu that you will click on in order to select the MLS you would like to sync (if you have multiple connected).

After the MLS has been selected, click the “Sync” button in the upper right hand corner. This will allow your listings to sync over.

In order for a transaction to successfully sync from the MLS, there is some information required in the MLS:

  1. Property Address

  2. Associated Agent (must be added to your CORE BackOffice account)

  3. Active Listing Status (listings with a status other than 'Active' will not sync over)

In addition to the items above, the sync can also pull over the below data:

  • Listing dates

  • Close dates

  • Commission price

  • Sale price

  • Listing price

  • MLS Number

  • Buyer information

  • Seller information

We recommend that you sync once or twice a day in order to account for any changes or additional information added in your MLS.
