There are many options for personalizing your kvCORE website: you can change the color theme, what your front page carousels include, what your menu tabs are titled, and much more.
At the bottom of your list of website settings is a Listings section that allows you to control some aspects of how the listings display on your website. A few of the default options should remain as is, but the majority of them can (and sometimes should) be changed.
Accessing Your Website Settings
Log into kvCORE.
Hover over the Web & IDX tab on the left.
Select 'Website Settings'.
Admins Please Note: If you want to update this setting for an Office or Team site, or another Agent please select the proper domain from the dropdown menu with the directions below.
Log into kvCORE.
Click on your email address in the top right-hand corner.
Click on 'Websites'.
Search for the subdomain you wish to edit settings for.
Click on "Site Settings".
TIP: The "Site Overview" button will take you back to the Web & IDX tab.
One of the seven options available is the 'Popular Options' dropdown list. It is a little-known, but helpful resource at the very bottom of your website settings list.
The dropdown options under this setting depend on the MLS board(s) you have associated with your kvCORE account. They reflect the additional features that listing Agents can choose to feature when adding a listing to the MLS.
For instance, if your MLS allows listing Agents to select 'Fireplace' as a property feature, then 'Fireplace' will be an option to choose from in the drop-down.
If you choose an additional search option to feature on your website, visitors can use that as an option when narrowing down their property requirements on your kvCORE website under the "More Filters" button.
You can choose more than one additional search option, but it is recommended to limit it to displaying no more than 5 or 6 at a time otherwise you run the risk of overwhelming your website visitors. It is also possible for a visitor to choose too many search options and see no results because they are searching too narrowly.
Quick Tip: When editing the site there may be a delay in your changes, to make sure that the change takes place you can flush the site cache, to do this just add this text " ?FLUSH_CACHE=1 " to the end of your URL reset the site and then you change will display.
