The CORE Messenger Bot is an expertly designed lead generation tool that uses a call-to-action banner along with preset smart responses to engage your website visitors and turn them into leads.
While it may look and act like a typical chat widget, behind the scenes it is actually using the visitor's information to set up alerts for them to receive once they have opted in and keeps them engaged when you might otherwise be unable to do so.
Using "yes or no" questions and preset responses to capture new leads, CORE Messenger Bot primes them for your first conversation. It will obtain as much information as possible about their buying or selling needs and log the information in the New Lead's Smart CRM record.
The CORE Messenger Bot is similar to the default chat widget already available to you in that it also connects with your Facebook business page, but it does not require you to be available when someone begins a conversation and actively asks for more information.
Please Note: The CORE Messenger Bot is designed to be used with a Facebook Business page, so if you would like to take advantage of this great lead gen tool you will need to create one if you do not currently have a Business page on Facebook. To learn how to create a Business page, click here.
CORE Messenger Bot At A Glance
To get started, just log into your kvCORE account and navigate to your Marketplace tab. Scroll down until you see the CORE Messenger Bot tile and click "Learn More". Pricing is displayed within the Marketplace tab.
Within 3 business days the messenger bot and its accompanying banner will be installed on your kvCORE website by Inside Real Estate.
Once this occurs you will see a blue messenger bubble on the bottom right of your website.
In the case that a website visitor chooses to chat without using their Facebook account, the bot will ask them for their email address so it can follow up with further information relevant to their answers.
TIP: You will be able to see each messenger conversation within your Facebook messenger tool, so even if a visitor does not choose to chat using their Facebook account their conversation with the bot will still be visible to you.
Regardless of the chatting method they choose, the questions asked by the bot and the answer options will be the same. There are two paths a conversation can take at the outset, one being specific to Buyers and the other specific to Sellers.

TIP: If you currently use kvCORE's default chat widget and have your Facebook ID in the "Facebook Username for Chat" field in your website settings list, remember to remove that if you purchase the CORE Messenger Bot Add-on. The messenger will replace the default chat widget on your kvCORE website.

Please Note: Because of the automated nature of the Messenger Bot you are unable to customize the questions or answer options that a visitor sees.
Managing CORE Messenger Bot Leads
Once a chat is initiated and contact information is provided, CORE Messenger Bot will instantly send the visitor's information to kvCORE.
A New Lead will be created within your Smart CRM with a Deal Type of either 'Buyer' or 'Seller'. The source will be "CORE Messenger Bot" and the #COREMessengerBot label will be automatically applied.
Notes about the conversation and home preferences will appear in the lead's record as well.
If the visitor chooses to chat using their Facebook account, their name and contact information will display in their contact record like any other lead.
If they do not use a Facebook account and continue the conversation as a guest, you will see a Guest ID assigned to their contact record along with the email address they provided.
Because only the property information from a conversation with the messenger bot is saved within a New Lead's contact record, you are encouraged to review the transcript within your Facebook Messenger tool prior to following up with the lead.
You may wish to continue the conversation with them via Facebook's Messenger or reach out to them via kvCORE. If you choose to use Facebook's messenger tool, remember to log notes about the conversation within the New Lead's Smart CRM contact record to keep yourself organized and avoid asking the same questions.
While the default Smart Campaigns for both Buyers and Sellers will trigger automatically for these CORE Messenger Bot leads, it is highly recommended to create a specific campaign with messages relating to the two types of leads you will receive from this chat widget.
