[BoldTrail - Admin] How to Remove or Delete Agents

Learn how to deactivate or delete Agents from your BoldTrail system.

It's possible that as an Admin you'll need to remove an Agent from an Office, Team, or brokerage entirely. This is a simple but important function within BoldTrail.

Company Admins may remove Agents from any entity that falls under the Company (Offices & Teams), and are the only Admins that can fully delete Agents from BoldTrail. Admins of other entities may remove Agents from the Office or Team of which they're an Admin.


How to Remove an Agent From an Office

Please Note: If you're removing an Agent from an Office, it's crucial that they are added to the correct office before being removed from the first.

To remove an Agent from an Office first navigate to that entity using the 'Offices' or 'tab from the dropdown menu.

Once you navigate to the Offices tab, find the entity of which you'd like to remove the Agent and click the 'Edit' button.

Find the Agent you'd like to remove and click 'Actions' then select 'Remove Member'.

A popup will appear asking you to confirm you'd like the member to be removed from the Office. Select 'Yes'.


How to Remove an Agent From a Team

To remove an Agent from a Team first select 'Teams' from the main dropdown menu.

Once you navigate to the Teams tab, find the entity of which you'd like to remove the Agent and click the 'Edit' button.

Find the Agent you'd like to remove and click 'Actions' then select 'Remove Member'.

A popup will then appear with a choice of how to reassign Team-owned leads.

Force Assign Contacts: Manually choose an Agent or Admin on the Team to reassign the Team-owned contacts to.

Round Robin to All Agents: Round robin the Team-owned contacts to the members of the Team.

Delete All Contacts: Permanently delete the Team-owned contacts that were assigned to the deleted Agent.

Please Note: All campaigns for the contacts that are not deleted will be removed. The hashtag "fromAGENTNAME" will be added to the contacts.

Select 'Remove Member' on the bottom left.


How to Delete an Agent

Please Note: Although Agents can be deleted from the system fully, the best practice is to make them inactive.

As a Company Admin, you can permanently delete Agents from BoldTrail. To do so, first, navigate to the 'Agents' tab from the main dropdown menu.

Find the Agent whose account you would like to delete and click the 'x' to the fair right.

A popup will then appear with a choice of how to reassign Company-owned leads.

Force Assign Contacts: Manually choose an Agent or Admin to reassign the Company-owned contacts to.

Round Robin to All Agents: Round robin the Company-owned contacts to the members of the entity you select.

Delete All Contacts: Permanently delete the Company-owned contacts that were assigned to the deleted Agent.

Please Note: All campaigns for the contacts that are not deleted will be removed. The hashtag "fromAGENTNAME" will be added to the contacts.

When Company-owned contacts are re-distributed to an entity (Office, Team, ect), Agents who are inactive or out of rotation will not receive any of the transferred leads.

Once you've made your selections, click 'Delete Agent' on the bottom left.
