[CoreHome] How Contacts Are Assigned in CoreHome

Overview

The company-branded mobile app requires Agent selection before access is granted. During registration, a contact uses their email address as their login and creates their password. Next, they will need to select/confirm their Agent assignment.

Two paths are used for determining Agent assignment to help ensure that your contacts have you as their assigned Agent.

Path 1: Contact Received An Agent’s Personal Share Link (Recommended)

When a client uses your personal share link, the system knows they're your contact.

If your client receives your share link and has not already downloaded/registered:

  1. The share link will guide them to their mobile app store to download.

  2. Once downloaded, they will be prompted to select an Agent before they can proceed.

    1. Because they used your share link, you will be the only Agent suggested to them.

If your client receives your share link but has already downloaded & registered with a different Agent:

  1. If a client already has the company-branded mobile app then it can be assumed that they have already gone through the Agent selection process. For this reason, when your client receives your share link they will not automatically be assigned to you but will be prompted with the option to change their current Agent assignment to you.

Your brokerage will provide you with the share link web address and you may share that link through email, text, social media, etc.

Path 2: Contact Did Not Use Your Personal Share Link

Your personal agent share link is the best way for the system to identify you as the appropriate assigned Agent. That said, an Agent’s contacts can download and register for the company-branded mobile app without coming through a share link. When this happens, the system will reference the registered email address that the client used to register for the company branded app:

If the registered email address exists as a contact in ONLY your BoldTrail:

  1. Suggested Agent: You will be the only Agent available to select

  2. To provide the best client experience, clients will also have the following options:

    1. Option to search for an Agent

    2. Option to have an Agent assigned

If the registered email address exists as a contact in multiple Agent’s BoldTrail databases:

  1. Suggested Agents: All applicable company Agents

  2. To provide the best client experience, clients will also have the following options:

    1. Option to search for an Agent

    2. Option to have an Agent assigned

If the registered email address does not yet exist in BoldTrail:

  1. Suggested Agents: Randomized list of Agents

  2. To provide the best client experience, clients will also have the following options:

    1. Option to search for an Agent

    2. Option to have an Agent assigned

Please Note: An agent needs to be in their brokerage’s lead distribution pool in order to be assigned.
