Email Domain Requirements for Deliverability
Google has announced that requirements are now in place for any users sending bulk emails using a generic email address. As of February 2024, all bulk senders using Gmail must authenticate their emails to allow for easy unsubscribe, and stay under a reported spam threshold.
Generic Emails
A generic email address is a free email address that is created on email clients such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. These would look similar to the following:

Email Deliverability Upgrades
As your technology partner, we understand the importance of effectively communicating with audiences at scale, and are committed to supporting our customers’ ongoing marketing efforts. In order to help keep your email deliverability high, we’ve made some changes to email functionality for all BoldTrail system.
Your Verified Relay Email
If you are using a generic email address for your BoldTrail account, Inside Real Estate will automatically assign a verified relay email address to you. To ensure optimal email deliverability, all of your campaigns and listing emails sent from BoldTrail will show as being “From” agentname@realestatealerts.com.
Your new verified relay email will be: agentname@realestatealerts.com.
This can be found in the Contact Info section of your Agent profile, directly under your BoldTrail email address. The new field will be titled Verified Relay Email:
Please Note: Only users leveraging a generic email address will be assigned a Verified Email Relay.
When a lead receives an email from you through BoldTrail, your verified relay email address will display as follows:
Your leads’ email replies will still be sent to your generic account email address (such as gmail, yahoo, ect).
If you would rather not use the @insiderealtestatealerts.com email address, you will need to update your account email address (login email) to a non-generic address.
Changing Your Verified Relay Email
If you’d like to change the name of your verified relay email address, you can simply replace it with a different prefix. This change can be made in your profile at any time.
Please Note: All verified relay email addresses must be unique. If you choose a prefix that is already in use, you will be notified to choose a different one.
It's important to avoid including numbers or special characters in your verified relay alias. This will cause errors in functionality, and will increase the likelihood that your emails will land in spam or will fail to send.

Email Behavior
When an email is sent from BoldTrail, the system will first check to see if a Vanity email address has been entered into the user's profile.
If a vanity email address is present, it will then check to determine if the domain is generic.
If it is a generic domain, the email will be sent from your Verified Relay Email Address.
If it is not a generic domain, the email will be sent from the Vanity email address.
If the Vanity Email Address field is empty, the system will check the account email address.
If it is a generic domain, the email will be sent from your Verified Relay Email Address.
If it is not a generic domain, the email will be sent from your Account email address.
Frequently Asked Questions
What action is required of me?
No action is required. If you use a generic free email address, we will automatically change your system email “From” email address to the new address (agentname@realestatealerts.com).
When will this go into effect?
For existing users who have a generic email address: your email address will automatically shift to the new, verified relay email address on Monday, April 29, 2024.
For new users who registered after April 29 2024, you will automatically be assigned a new, verified relay email address during the onboarding process.
Will my original email address still be accessible?
Yes! Your original email address will still be accessible, and your ability to receive emails remains unchanged.
For example, if you have been leveraging the email address bobtheagent@gmail.com throughout your career, it’s listed on all of your marketing materials, and it’s the email address your long-term clients know and use to contact you, fear not! The email address itself will be unimpacted - rather, the system email address you use to send your emails will be updated with agentname@realestatealerts.com. The email prefix (agentname) can be changed at any time within your user profile.
Will my leads see the verified relay email address, or will they see example@realestatealerts.com when an email has been received?
The contact will see the new "from" email agentname@realestatealerts.com.
Will I be able to change the name of my realestatealerts.com email address?
If you are using a generic email address and would like to change the name of your verified relay address, you can simply replace the default Verified Relay Email address.
Are email responses to the new agentname@realestatealerts.com email address only available via BoldTrail?
You will continue to have access to your emails (and replies) both within the system, and using the email provider you would typically use (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook).
