Learn how to link TransactionDesk to BoldTrail and utilize the Transactions tab

In BoldTrail, you can now set the Transaction Management tool with TransactionDesk. This will allow for a Transactions tab to display in BoldTrail to keep a history on any past transactions, as well as include options to create new Transactions directly within the BoldTrail platform.

Please Note: This is currently not available in Canada.


How to Connect TransactionDesk

Select the Marketplace tab in BoldTrail on the left side. Once in the Marketplace, you'll find the TransactionDesk tile and select 'Learn More'.

Next, click the 'Add to BoldTrail' button.

A new tab will open with the TransactionDesk Menu Sign in to authenticate your account.

You'll want to use the login credentials associated with your TransactionDesk account, NOT BoldTrail.

Once TransactionDesk has been added to your account the 'Transactions' tab will appear on the menu to the left side. You may need to log out and back in before the tab populates.


How to Create a Transaction in BoldTrail Using TransactionDesk

First, select the 'Deals' tab from the main navigation. You'll then want to click the '+ Create Transaction' button. The form will then pop up which can be filled out with the following information.

  1. Listings: Look up the listing using the address

  2. Transaction Type: The drop-down options are pulled directly from your TransactionDesk account

  3. Transaction Status: The drop-down options are pulled directly from your TransactionDesk account

  4. Contact Type: The drop-down options are pulled directly from your TransactionDesk account

Finally, click 'Create' and a new window will open via SSO into the new transaction record in TransactionDesk

When pulling in a transaction, we update your contact’s status based on the status of their transaction. The system connects contacts based on email matching from TransactionDesk and your contact in BoldTrail. Since BoldTrail and TransactionDesk have different statuses, we have mapped them as following:

Frequently Asked Questions

How does BoldTrail know which lead to connect a transaction to?

BoldTrail matches up contacts based on their email address. If the emails do not match, it won’t show the transaction for the contact. You will want to create the contact and be sure their emails match so the transaction will show for the correct person.

How often does the data sync to BoldTrail?

TransactionDesk data should sync new transaction data every 15 minutes.

I want to add TransactionDesk to my account - however, there is no tile for it in the Marketplace. What do I do?

If you're an Agent and would like TransactionDesk to be available please reach out to your Company Admin or Broker for assistance. If you're a Company Admin or Broker please reach out to Support to have TransactionDesk added for your account.
