Overview

There are instances where you may be moving from one BoldTrail account to another. In order to make that transition as smooth as possible, InsideRE recommends the following best practices!


Exporting/Importing Contacts

How to Export Your Contacts From BoldTrail

To insure your new BoldTrail account has all of your contacts and leads you’ll want to export your contacts from the original BoldTrail account.

  1. Open your Contacts.

2. Select Export

Before exporting, you can use Contacts Filters to create a specific list of contacts to export.

Click on 'More Actions' -> Export

3. Email

Specify where you want your file emailed (the email linked to your BoldTrail account will be the default). Then click 'Export'.

The subject of the email will be: 'A Lead Export Has Been Shared With You'

Importing Contacts

Once your contacts have been exported you may import them to your new BoldTrail account. You can DIY import or have the BoldTrail Import Specialists assist.

When importing contacts into BoldTrail, you have two options: let us handle it for you to save time and avoid incorrectly importing your data or import the contacts yourself to retain full control over the process. Regardless of the import option you choose, we recommend that you use the applicable import template as a guide for formatting your file.

Sharing Smart Campaigns

You put a lot of effort into building the best campaigns for your contacts and it’s important that you’re able to continue using them. Using Smart Campaign Shake Tokens you can transfer your campaigns from your original BoldTrail account to your new one.

Marketplace Add-Ons

In order to limit any interruptions to your Marketplace add-ons you’ll want to cancel your Marketplace products and repurchase immediately through your new account.

Reach out to the Billing Team for assistance with cancellations.

Please Note: If you switch over a vanity domain that is linked to your email address emails will not be processed until the vanity domain on the new account is installed.
