How it Works

What Makes CORE Social So Effective?

It’s managed by real people, not robots. Inside Real Estate’s Content Managers scour the internet to find relevant, engaging articles; the kind of stuff that’ll help you earn the trust of qualified buyers and sellers in your area. The InsideRE team adds this carefully curated content to their ever-growing database – and that’s where you come in.

1. Choose Topics

You’re always in control with CORE Social. Choose what you want to post about by picking favorites from a list of 15 topics; real estate, DIY, travel, food, interior design, and more.

2. Set a Schedule

Select up to four days a week for content to be published on your social profiles and pages. CORE Social posts on Facebook or LinkedIn.

3. Enjoy Your Free Time

Automating your social media gives you more time to do what you want to do. Have lunch with friends, enjoy a massage, catch up on your favorite shows, or get coffee with a client!

How to Access CORE Social

Once CORE Social is active on your account you can access your posting schedule, settings & preferences, and connection by hovering over the 'Marketing' tab and selecting 'CORE Social'.

Connecting Your Social Media Accounts

After accessing the CORE Social Dashboard, you can connect your social media accounts from the 'Settings and Preferences' on the top right.

Find the Social Media tile and click 'Edit'.

Select 'Connect' for the Social Media accounts you want to sync and continue with the prompts.

How to Find Your Vanity URL When Connecting Your Facebook Business Page

  1. Log in to your Facebook account with administrative access to the Facebook Business page you want to sync.

  2. Go to your Facebook Business page.

  3. In the address bar of your web browser, check the URL of your Facebook page. It should look something like this: `https://www.facebook.com/YourPageName`.

  4. You'll need to set a custom username if your page's URL contains a long string of numbers instead of a page name.

  5. While on your Facebook Business page, click on "Settings" located at the top right corner of the page.

  6. In the left sidebar, click on "General."

  7. Look for the "Username" section. It will display your current URL if you have one or allow you to create a new one.

  8. Click on "Edit" to the right of the Username section.

  9. Enter a preferred username for your page. This should be something related to your business and easy to remember.

  10. Facebook will check the availability of the username. If it's available, a green checkmark will appear. If not, you'll need to choose a different one.

  11. Once you've selected an available username, click the "Create Username" button.

Calendar & Analytics

Please Note: At this time you will not be able to preview content - only see when something will be posted.

You can view analytics by content type, social media platform, and engagement type. It may take up to 24 hours for the data to display within kvCORE.

Please Note: Analytics are currently only available for Facebook. LinkedIn coming soon!

Allow Auto-Posting

For connected accounts, toggle on the 'Allow Posting' section from the lefthand side.

In-Market Listings

The In-Market Listings feature allows you to leverage your brokerage's listings as social media content, giving you a huge advantage in your social media presence!

You can access the settings by selecting In-Market Listings from the top right of your CORE Social main menu:

Note: In order to use the In-Market Listings feature, ensure that you have allowed posting for your selected Social Media accounts.

In-Market Listings Settings

Posting Permissions

Ensure that you are allowing content by selecting the Allowing Content toggle for the social media platforms of your choice.

My Markets

To add a new market, click the Add New Market button at the top right.

General Settings

Name: The name of your desired market.

Tooltip: Your market name will be included in the text portion of your post. For example, "Just Listed! Take a look at this stunning property in [Market Name]!" As this is a customer-facing field, you will want to name it accordingly.

Posting Frequency: Click the days of the week to select which days content should be posted.

Tooltip: A listing will not be posted again by any Agent in the brokerage until 5 days have elapsed since the original post.

Search Criteria

Enter your desired search criteria, using a city, ZIP code, or area name. You may also use the Draw on Map option if preferred.

Once you've selected your area by either entering a location or drawing a polygon, you can narrow down the selection by specifying additional search criteria:

Once you've made your selections, click Save.

Tooltip: If no listings meet your search criteria, then nothing will be posted and your calendar will display 0 for that day.

Your new Market will display in the left-hand menu, indicating the Name, Posting Type, Posting Frequency, and the date of the last social media post using listings from that specific Market.

Editing Your Market

To make changes to your Market, simply click the Edit button. You may also delete your Market using the Delete button at the bottom right of the Edit window:

In-Market Listing Posts

Each In-Market Listing post will include a caption, your Agent contact information, and the listing's details.

Captions are randomized for each listing status, and each article posted will cycle through a fresh pool of captions. Once the pool has completed a cycle, it will start over with a new randomized selection to ensure that the same caption is not used back to back.

The statement "Take a look at this listing in [ ]" indicates the name of your Market. This can be changed by clicking the Edit button in your In-Market Listing settings.

Calendar

The blue In-Market pill shows the number of listings currently in-market for the selected month.

Your Market posts will automatically be scheduled a week in advance. The In-Market calendar pills will display a number depending on how many Markets you have. For example, if you have two In-Market listings, you will see a 2 on the calendar pill.

However, if there is not a listing in your brokerage that matches the search criteria at the time a post is scheduled, the In-Market pill on your calendar will display 0 instead.
