What Is A New Lead Notification?
When a new lead registers on your website and is added as a contact in BoldTrail, the system will send a notification to alert you of the new contact.
Tip: If you use Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, you can easily keep track of your new lead notification emails within the BoldTrail CRM by syncing your accounts!
New lead notifications are triggered when:
A new contact is added to your BoldTrail account using one of the following methods:
Website registration
Lead transfer
Lead assigned via routing rules
A contact's status is set to New Lead.
The contact is assigned to you as the owner.
New Lead Notification Types
BoldTrail will send notifications using one of the following methods:
Email Notification
By default, all new leads will trigger a new lead notification email, which will contain the lead's name, contact information, registration source, and the property they registered on (if applicable). You can click on View Contact Details to open the contact in your BoldTrail account, or in the BoldTrail app if viewing the email on your mobile device.
SMS/Text Notification
Text notifications will be sent if you have enabled text notifications in your BoldTrail app. These notifications will include the lead's name, contact information, registration source, and the property they registered on (if applicable). To view the contact in the mobile app, click on the link provided under Lead Link.
Push Notification
If push notifications are enabled in your BoldTrail app settings, you'll recive a popup with the lead's name and source. Tapping on the notification will take you directly to the new contact within the BoldTrail app.
BoldTrail App Message
The Notifications tab in the BoldTrail app will display any new leads you recieve along with their name and source. To visit each contact, simply tap on their name in the notification to open their contact profile.
Managing Notifications
Text notifications and push notifications can be disabled within the BoldTrail app by navigating to Menu > Settings and disabling the toggles for each.
Note: At this time, there is no way to disable email notifications or in-app notifications, as these are system components that cannot be modified.
For more information and guidelines on managing mobile push notifications, please visit [BoldTrail] Mobile App Push Notifications.
How New Lead Notifications Are Determined
When a new lead comes into BoldTrail, the system will perform a series of "checks" to determine if, when, and how a notification should be sent.
Agent Eligibility Check
The system will send new lead notifications if the following is true:
Your account is active in the BoldTrail CRM.
No other notifications for that particular contact were sent.
Your specific behavior alert settings are enabled (defaults to enabled).
There are no bugs or other issues that would prevent a notification from being sent to a particular contact.
Contact Status Check
The system will then check to determine if notifications are enabled for the contact's status. Certain statuses will not prompt a new lead notification.
